out of all the peplum films that were ever mass produced this is my fave. The fight with the giant stone pillars has to be one of the greatest battles of filmdom. When Herc and Samson team up and start throwing huge foam boulders at their enemies it makes you think...WOW ! Were there really guys like this thousands of years ago? Now I know the styma attached to these films is a negative kinda homophobic pov but you peeps gotta get your minds out of the gutter. These films are about heroic deeds and feats of strength and adventure. So get over you fantasies and take these films as what they are...classic movies from a genre long forgotten and misunderstood. NO , TROY don't even hold a candle so don't go there!
